The manipulation of space is central to Sandra’s work. Sandra challenges the viewer to find a diversity of inner spaces. She plays with outside space by intruding on air with provocative lines, bumps, and curls, occasionally leaving a "window" to permit a peek into inner space—suggesting a new perspective.
